Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026 · Effective: August 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ARC Global Logistics ("ARC," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with arcglobal.us and the freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and supply chain services we provide.

Summary. We collect business contact details you provide, shipment and customs data needed to move and clear your cargo, and standard website analytics. Because international shipping is a regulated activity, we are legally required to transmit certain shipment and party information to government authorities such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We do not sell personal information.

1. Who We Are and Scope

ARC Global Logistics is an international freight forwarder, licensed customs broker, and NVOCC headquartered at 1 Linden Place, Suite 311, Great Neck, NY 11021, USA.

This Policy applies to personal information we handle as a controller — including website visitors, prospective and current client contacts, carrier and vendor contacts, and job applicants. Where we process personal information on a client's behalf strictly under their instructions as part of a service engagement, we act as a processor, and our written services agreement with that client governs.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, to remember preferences such as display theme, and to measure site usage through analytics. We do not use our website to build advertising profiles or to track you across unaffiliated websites.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality. Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.

5. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Delivering international logistics inherently requires disclosing shipment information to the parties who move, handle, and clear the goods. We disclose information to:

6. International Transfers

International logistics is inherently cross-border. To move and clear your cargo, personal information is transferred to the countries of origin, transit, and destination, and to our partner network — including the United States, Mexico, Canada, and countries across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

Where personal information is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country not recognized as providing adequate protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, on the necessity of the transfer for performance of a contract, or on the establishment or defense of legal claims — as applicable to the transfer in question.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to satisfy legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and reporting requirements. Customs and transportation records are subject to statutory retention periods — in the United States, customs records must generally be retained for five years from the date of entry. Inquiry and marketing contact records are retained for a reasonable period following your last interaction with us unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Job applicant records are retained in line with applicable employment law.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. As a C-TPAT-certified participant, we also maintain supply chain security procedures in line with that program. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.

9. Your Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the preceding 12 months we have collected identifiers, commercial information, professional and employment information, and internet activity, and disclosed them for the business purposes and to the recipient categories described in Sections 3 and 5.

Certain requests may be limited where we are legally obligated to retain records, such as customs entry documentation.
